You’re invited to join SommSouth as we welcome the beginning of summer by exploring rose from around the world. Bring an interesting bottle or two of rose and come explore the different styles, methods of production, grapes, and colors - oh the myriad of colors - of rose. Still and sparkling examples are equally welcome.
We are honored to be able to host this event at Rathbun’s on Krog Street, just off the Beltline. The Rathbun team will be providing tasty fried chicken and other treats to complement the rose. Could there any better way to spend a Sunday afternoon? We think not, and we look forward to seeing you there. Perhaps we’ll finally learn the answer to the question of whether saignee can truly hang with intentional rose maceration or blending.
Any remaining proceeds would go to support the Southeastern Sommelier Society.
